In honoring and celebrating the life of your loved one, I will work with you in a spirit of compassion and integrity to create a meaningful ceremony that reflects the unique tapestry of their  life and at the same time help you feel comforted and supported.
 
As a Celebrant, it is my role to deliver a ceremony which, after consultation with families is an authentic and personalized celebration of the life of your loved one, conveyed with grace, dignity and sensitivity.  Together we can work through the elements of a ceremony which commemorates the gift of their presence in your lives, while at the same time honoring family, friends and the wider community left behind.
 
In working with you, I will: 
  • Maintain the highest standard of professional and personal conduct at all times;
  • Respect the confidentiality of the family;
  • Ensure that the right of personal choice and decision-making is maintained;
  • Respect the cultural and spiritual beliefs of the family;
  • Recognize and respect the vulnerability of the family during this time of bereavement;
  • Encourage the family to use music, photographic presentations, poetry, prayers and personal and meaningful mementos which will personalize the funeral service. This will assist the family to begin the long journey of grief by honoring and celebrating the relationship you have experienced, while also acknowledging the impact of your loss; 
My role as a celebrant is to give you a personal and involved approach with sensitivity and empathy.
